3rd-8th Grade PSSA ELA
Thursday, April 28th (AM & PM) and Friday, April 29th (AM)
3rd-8th Grade Math
Wednesday, May 4th (AM & PM)
4th & 8th Grade Science
Friday, May 6th (AM & PM)
3rd-6th grade will take paper and pencil testing. Both will be provided.
7th & 8th grade will take tests on their laptops and will need fully charged laptops.
The Jim Thorpe Area School District will be on a Two-Hour Delay on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. Please be safe at the bus stops and on the roads.
On Wednesday, April 13, the JTASD will dismiss early with HS at 11:30AM and the LB/PK at 12:30PM. The Easter Break will continue through Monday, April 18. School reopens on Tuesday, April 19 with our students/teachers back in the classrooms.
Also, there will be a Board Meeting held on Wednesday evening at 7PM at the High School auditorium.

Please join us to celebrate Cinco de Mayo at our annual Family Reading Night. This event will be held here at Penn Kidder Campus on Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 6-8pm. We have many fun activities planned for this night including; learning the history of Cinco de Mayo, making instruments, poetry, letter/word matching, escape room, story time, dancing, and many more! Please bring gently used books to "swap". The PTA will be selling theme-related goodies. Please bring your school iPad to help with some activities. We hope to see you there!

Fantastic work from each team this year! The videos are being watched throughout the state and country. The messaging is clear, and the videography is impressive.
Remember what Matt Lewis said- the most important thing is to finish. And every student team did more than that- the videos were AMAZING!
Power has been restored to the Penn-Kidder Campus. School will continue as a full day, with no need for an early dismissal. The staff and the students have resumed normal activity and should be commended for their actions during this brief power outage.
Attention parents/guardians of Penn-Kidder Campus students: This morning shortly between 9AM-9:30AM, the Penn-Kidder Campus power went down. Back up generators have come on providing some power in the school. However, if this power problem does not improve, it will be necessary to early dismiss student this morning at the PKC only.
I will update you on this PK Campus situation.
