Who? Any and all Jim Thorpe students from the 6th grade through 12th.
What? Tennis! Whoop whoop! 🎾🎾🎾
When? Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4pm - 6pm (Starting May 10th)
Where? The High School Tennis Courts.
Why? It's Fun! It's a hard sport to learn - and lessons are expensive... This is free. Once you learn, you can enjoy the sport for your entire life (take that football)

As an added bonus - beating Blue Mountain always feels good.
There are extra racquets and tennis balls, so no equipment needed
JT Boys Basketball will be holding an open gym for boys in grades 6-12 on Wednesday, May 11th from 6-8 at the high school.
The Batman and Casper buses are running about 10 minutes late this morning.

The cookie and coffee fundraiser orders will be available for pick up on Tuesday, May 10th.
There will be 3 pick-up options available. Please email pkc@jtasd.org to let us know how you would like to retrieve your items.
In person pickup between 12:00 and 2:30 at the front office.
Pick up at Parent Pick-up in the rear of the building between 3:10 and 3:25.
Send orders home with your child.

PTA Spring Book Fair
Pre-K Drop off and pick up will take place at the main entrance of Penn Kidder today.
Tigger and Flintstone bus is running late. A replacement bus is on the way but will be another few minutes. Students from these buses will not be marked late.
2022 Boys Basketball Camp to be held at the Jim Thorpe High School, June 20 - June 23 from 8:30-12:30. Open to boys entering grades 3-8. Cost: $80
Please join us to celebrate Cinco de Mayo at our annual Family Reading Night. This event will be held here at Penn Kidder Campus on Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 6-8pm. We have many fun activities planned for this night including; learning the history of Cinco de Mayo, making instruments, poetry, letter/word matching, escape room, story time, dancing, and many more! Please bring gently used books to "swap". The PTA will be selling theme-related goodies and hold a family shopping event book fair. Please bring your school iPad to help with some activities. We hope to see you there!
Field trip chaperones need to have clearances. Child Abuse and State Police Clearances can be obtained for free by requesting Volunteer Clearances. These are the only ones that are needed.
