The L.B. Morris Parent Teacher Association is holding a winter craft fair this Saturday, November 11th, at L.B. Morris Elementary. The craft fair will run from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and will feature over 30 vendors. There will also be raffle prizes and concession sales to help support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. We hope to see you there!

The Jim Thorpe Area School District will be adding a teacher in-service day to the school calendar on Wednesday, October 25. This day will now be an early dismissal day for all students. On Wednesday, October 25, the high school will be dismissed at 11:00, and L.B. Morris and P.K. Campus will be dismissed at 12:00.
The JTASD's Board of Education Committee Meeting scheduled for tonight has been cancelled. The agenda items from the committee meeting will be discussed at the regular meeting of the Board of Education on Wednesday, October 18, at 7:00 PM.

Attention K - 5 Parents: The district will "pilot" the Wonders Reading Program in select grade levels in the 23-24 school year. On Wednesday, August 16th, the Wonders curricular materials K - 5 will be on display at the Jim Thorpe Area High School in the commons for anyone interested in looking at the material. The Zaner-Bloser handwriting material K - 3 will also be on display as well.
