Jim Thorpe Area School District will be holding Student MacBook Pickup for students in grades 3–12 according to the schedule below.
Please note that this is a new device pickup procedure for the 2026–2027 school year.
Jim Thorpe High School - Main Entrance
Students in Grades 9–12
Wednesday, August 19 — 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Thursday, August 20 — 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
L.B. Morris School & Penn Kidder Campus - Main Entrances
Students in Grades 3–8
Friday, August 21 — 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Monday, August 24 — 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
A parent or legal guardian must be present to sign the MacBook out for their student. For security and verification purposes, the parent or guardian picking up the device must bring a valid form of photo identification, such as a driver’s license, REAL ID, or other government-issued photo ID.
Optional Student Device Insurance
The district will also offer an optional $25 student device insurance policy for each student. Parents or guardians who would like to purchase coverage may do so during MacBook pickup.
Please have your photo identification ready when you arrive to help us keep the pickup process moving quickly and efficiently.
